What Invisalign Reliably Achieves
Aligners move teeth in small, staged increments — a fraction of a millimeter per tray — and that mechanism suits some problems far better than others. A handful of case types respond predictably in experienced hands, and they cover most of what adults in Dubai actually ask about.
- Mild to moderate crowding. Rotating and uprighting front teeth into an even arch is what clear aligners do best, usually with a combination of bonded attachments and a small amount of enamel reshaping to create space.
- Spacing and gaps. Closing a midline gap or generalized spacing is highly predictable. Holding it closed afterward is the part that depends on you.
- Relapse after old braces. A frequent reason adults restart treatment. Because the teeth were aligned once before, correction is often short — commonly an Express or Lite course rather than a full comprehensive plan.
- Mild to moderate bite correction. Deep bites, small overjets and minor crossbites improve well with aligners plus elastics, provided the discrepancy is dental rather than skeletal.
- Alignment before cosmetic work. Straightening first usually means a more conservative veneer or bonding plan later, because less natural tooth has to be reduced to mask a crooked position.
Where Results Are Less Predictable
No aligner system moves every tooth equally well. Round-rooted teeth resist rotation. Bodily root movement is harder than tipping a crown. And no removable appliance changes the size or position of your jawbones.
| Case type | Predictability with aligners | What it usually takes |
|---|---|---|
| Mild to moderate crowding | High | Attachments, sometimes light enamel reshaping |
| Spacing and gaps | High | Attachments, then disciplined retention |
| Relapse after old braces | High | Often a short Express or Lite course |
| Mild deep bite or overjet | Good in dental cases | Precision attachments plus elastics |
| Open bite or crossbite | Case by case | Elastics, longer staging, likely refinements |
| Severe rotations (especially premolars) | Lower | Staged rotation, attachments, extra refinement stages |
| Extraction cases and large root movement | Lower | Specialist planning; fixed braces may do the job better |
| Skeletal jaw discrepancy | Not correctable by aligners alone | Growth guidance in teens, or a combined surgical-orthodontic plan |
If your case sits in the lower rows, you will hear that at the consultation — not after you have paid. The orthodontist who assesses you will say plainly when braces or a combined approach is the more honest route to the result you want. You can see who would be treating you on our team page.
Preview Your Own Result Before You Commit
You do not have to take any of this on faith. An iTero digital scan captures your teeth in a few minutes with no impression trays, and that scan becomes a ClinCheck 3D treatment simulation: your arches, your teeth, moving stage by stage to the planned finish.
That simulation is a plan, not a photograph of the future. It shows the movements the orthodontist has prescribed and the sequence they will happen in, so you can question the plan — the position of your midline, how much enamel reshaping is proposed, whether the finish is too conservative — before a single aligner is manufactured. Reviewing it carefully is worth the time it takes. The full sequence is set out on our Invisalign process page.
What Determines Your Final Result
Four things, in roughly this order of impact:
- Wear time. Aligners work only while they are in your mouth. The accepted target is 20–22 hours a day. Long business lunches on Sheikh Zayed Road and coffee meetings in DIFC are where wear time quietly disappears; during Ramadan, many patients find the long fasting hours make compliance easier.
- Attachments and auxiliaries. Small tooth-colored shapes bonded to your teeth give the plastic something to push against. Rotations, extrusions and bite work are far less predictable without them.
- Refinements. Teeth rarely track a plan perfectly to the last hundredth of a millimeter. Additional aligners at the end to fine-tune the finish are normal and expected, not a sign that something went wrong.
- Retention. The result you keep is decided after the last aligner, not before it.
How Long Results Last
Teeth move throughout life. The fibers that hold each tooth in its socket have elastic memory, and the jaw keeps changing subtly with age. This is why relapse after childhood braces is so common — usually because retainers were abandoned, not because the original treatment failed.
Retainers are therefore non-negotiable: full-time initially, then nightly, indefinitely. One Dubai-specific warning worth repeating — never leave a retainer or aligner case in a parked car. Interior temperatures in summer are more than enough to distort thermoplastic, and a warped retainer no longer holds anything. Practical care guidance is on our Invisalign aftercare page.
The 12-Month Treatment Guarantee
Paradise Dental backs treatment with a 12-month treatment guarantee. It is a written service commitment, not a promise about how your teeth will look — no clinic can promise that. Ask us to walk through exactly what it covers, and what it asks of you in return, before you start. The full terms are on the guarantee page and we will confirm them with you at the consultation.
Real Photos, Real Reviews
We do not publish before-and-after galleries on this page. Patient images are shown in person, with explicit consent, and we would rather show you a case genuinely comparable to yours than a stranger's smile that implies a result we cannot promise you. What is public is our verified patient feedback — read it in full on our reviews page and judge it for yourself.
What This Costs Right Now
Our current offer places Invisalign at AED 8,000 to AED 10,000, with the initial consultation, professional cleaning, teeth whitening and your retainers included at no extra charge. That sits below our standard pricing, where retainer sets alone are AED 1,200–2,500. A fuller breakdown of what drives the fee is on our Invisalign cost page.
Eligibility depends on your clinical case, so exact terms are confirmed at your free first consultation rather than online. Direct insurance billing is available with a number of UAE insurers, but orthodontic coverage varies considerably by policy and many plans exclude it entirely — confirm with your insurer before you plan around it, and see our insurance page for how we handle claims. Tabby, Tamara and Postpay allow interest-free installments.
Bring your questions and your skepticism. Book a free consultation or WhatsApp +971 58 520 9623 — we are on the 22nd floor of Burj Al Salam Tower, a five-minute walk from World Trade Centre Metro.
A note on suitability. Invisalign is not right for every case, and the package your case needs is confirmed only after a clinical exam and 3D scan. Your consultation is free and carries no obligation — see full pricing or read the FAQ.
