About This Treatment

Porcelain veneers are wafer-thin shells bonded to the front surface of your teeth to correct imperfections in color, shape, size, or spacing. We use premium E.max and Zirconia materials from leading European dental labs, ensuring exceptional aesthetics and durability. Each veneer is individually designed using digital impression technology for a precise, comfortable fit.

Your Complete Guide

Are you a candidate?

Veneers work well for teeth that are structurally healthy but cosmetically frustrating: chips, worn or uneven edges, deep discoloration that whitening cannot lift, small gaps, or slightly irregular proportions. What matters most is enamel. Porcelain bonds to enamel, so a sound tooth surface is the foundation of a veneer that lasts. Active decay or gum inflammation gets treated first, always. Clenching or grinding does not rule you out, but it changes the plan — your dentist may recommend a night guard to protect your investment.

Your first consultation at our clinic on the 22nd floor of Burj Al Salam Tower is free, and it is a genuine assessment, not a sales conversation. A DHA-licensed dentist examines your bite, gums, and enamel before recommending veneers at all. If whitening or bonding would achieve your goal at a fraction of the cost, we will tell you.

The two-visit process, step by step

Visit one — planning and preparation. We photograph your smile and scan your teeth with the iTero digital scanner. For larger cases, Digital Smile Design lets you preview the projected result on screen before any tooth is touched. Your dentist then prepares a conservative layer of enamel — typically a fraction of a millimeter — and fits temporaries, so you never leave the clinic mid-treatment.

Between visits — about two weeks. Your case goes to the lab, where each veneer is layered and characterized by hand to blend with your neighboring teeth rather than looking uniformly white.

Visit two — try-in and bonding. The veneers are placed without cement first so you can judge shade, shape, and fit in a mirror and in daylight. Only after you approve are they permanently bonded, the bite adjusted, and the margins polished.

Because preparation removes a small amount of enamel, porcelain veneers are considered irreversible. That is exactly why we rely on the digital preview and the cement-free try-in instead of asking you to imagine the outcome.

Living with veneers in Dubai

Daily care is ordinary: brushing, flossing, and hygiene visits every six months. A few practical notes for life here:

  • Mild sensitivity to iced drinks — an easy habit in Dubai's heat — is normal for the first week or two and settles on its own.
  • Porcelain itself resists staining from coffee and karak, but the cement margin can pick up color over years; regular hygiene visits keep those edges invisible.
  • Never use veneered teeth as tools — no opening packaging, biting nails, or cracking seeds.
  • If you grind at night, wear your guard. It is the single biggest factor in how long veneers last.

Your treatment is backed by our 12-month smile guarantee and a 5-year warranty on porcelain veneers — details at /guarantee.

Cost and insurance in Dubai

Porcelain veneers at Paradise Dental cost AED 2,500–6,500 per tooth over two visits; composite veneers run AED 900–1,800 per tooth and are completed in a single appointment. Within those ranges, the price depends on material choice, how many teeth are treated, and the complexity of shade matching.

Most UAE health policies classify veneers as cosmetic and exclude them, though preparatory work such as fillings or gum treatment is often covered. We direct-bill Daman, AXA, Cigna, Bupa Global, Allianz Care, Oman Insurance, Neuron, Nextcare, and Mednet, and we verify your coverage before treatment starts so there are no surprises. For the cosmetic portion, interest-free installments through Tabby, Tamara, or Postpay let you spread the cost. The full price list is at /pricing.

Porcelain or composite?

LifespanLongest, with excellent color stabilityShorter; benefits from periodic polishing

Composite suits younger patients, single-tooth fixes, and anyone who wants a reversible trial of a new smile. Porcelain is the stronger long-term choice when you want the result to look the same in year ten as it did in week one. Your dentist will walk you through both honestly at your free consultation.
